Podcast No. 2 – get some insights from a parent

Come and listen to our second school podcast. This podcast is based on an interview conducted on the 18th of March 2013 with Kelly Kitchen. Kelly’s son attended Richmond West Primary School for seven years and during this time Kelly was heavily involved in the school community, as a parent, a helper in class at least once a week, on the school council and also in various fundraisers at the school. Listen to what  she has to say about life at school as a parent and someone that was able to closely follows her child’s journey from prep. to grade 6, participating in the Chinese bi-lingual program.

First Richmond West Podcast – pod what?

Often you might have passed people at school, like teachers, parents, kids, school councillors and been wondering who they are and what they do at school. We thought a series of podcasts might address your curiosity and provide a way for our school community to get to know each other better.

If you don’t know what a “podcast” is you can always google: “podcast wiki” , but in short, in this case, it is an audio file that you can listen to using your computer or a media player like an iPod for example.

Our first podcast is an interview with Terry Griffin, Richmond West’s math teacher. Terry has been so kind to agree to be the first person to be interviewed.
