Let’s Celebrate Cultural Diversity Week!

Richmond Football Club player, Reece Conca shared his footy tips and techniques with a group of our students in grades 1-4. The football clinic was held as part of celebrations for Cultural Diversity Week 2015, the annual state wide celebration of Victoria’s cultural, linguistic and religious diversity. Cultural Diversity Week is presented by the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) and has been taking place since 2003. The theme for Cultural Diversity Week 2015 is Strengthening Our Community. We would like to thank Mr Chin Tran, VMC Chairperson and Jason Mifsud, Head of Diversity (AFL) for supporting our school. All students at Richmond West Primary School will celebrate Harmony Day this Friday 20th March through a range of activities in the classroom.
